Venice

This is the place where you should spend more than just a weekend. Actually there is an incredible number of things to see! Venice will mesmerize you and you will fall in love with it spending time on whatever catches your own interest…  Some just stroll around while others spend hours in the Accademia, same goes for shopping, or gondola rides, or cramming a dozen churches and museums, so the more time you have the better!
Be sure not to miss Piazza San Marco and the Basilica di San Marco (with the glittering golden mosaics in the interior!), the Doge’s Palace and Ponte dei Sospiri, the gallery in the Accademia and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco with Tintoretto paintings. Have a look to Rialto Bridge and just enjoy wandering aimlessly around in the labyrinth of alleys. Then, depending on how much time you have, have a taxi ride or a gondola tour or even a vaporetto cruise on the Canal Grande between Piazza San Marco and Ferrovia and enjoy the beauty of the facades of the palaces of the most influential families in Venice.
