Florence, Siena and Chianti

The Chianti wine region is one of the most scenic areas in Tuscany. Of unrivaled beauty, historically referring only to the area of Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti, today the region where the Chianti Classico is produced, recognizable by the Black Rooster logo (Gallo Nero) and extends further to the hill of Florence, Arezzo and Siena. Easily reachable from both Siena and Florence, you will enjoy the pleasure of visiting Tuscany wonderful medieval villages, revel in the scenery while learning about wine production and tasting wines, grappa and local olive oils with traditional Italian crostini, ham and pecorino cheese.

My advice? Have two days in Florence, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and visit the beautiful Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Cathedral, Palazzo Pitti, the Boboli Garden in the historic center. Leave Florence and enjoy the most beautiful medieval villages on a truly unforgettable wine tour that will take you to Siena and its beauty – Piazza del Campo, the Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia, the Cathedral and the museums – and be ready for Siena and Montalcino on the following day.
